NBA Star Kobe Bryant from the LA Lakers retires after a 20 year career. Making him one of the greatest players of all time.. I photographed Kobe back in 1998 for Trace Magazine. I had pulled an all nighter, then around 6am Eddie the journalist and myself flew over to Paris to get our obligatory '10 minute celebrity' photo session. I quickly cased the hotel and found some clean looking white tiled walls in the hotels kitchen. When we were up for our slot with Kobe his American PR ushered us over to some branded name board to shoot him in front of. I said 'but I've got some place in the kitchen I'd like to shoot Kobe' PR lady said 'No way!' Kobe shot me a look stood up and said 'let go'.. #kobebryant @kobebryant #nba #tracemagazine #neilmassey
