the first thing I did on January 1st 2022, was uninstall the game Gardenscape from my phone. it was a fun game to play when bored or stressed bc i could switch my brain off. but i knew in my heart that i was putting too much money into it. $1.49 or $2.99 every other day doesn't seem like a lot...but it does pile up...
I'd always dreaded to find out just how much i had spent on the stupid game. but once i uninstalled, i finally took the time to figure it out...
from 2020 to 2021 i spent a total of $2014.60 on this stupid, stupid game 💀💀💀
do i regret it? yes, mostly. but I won't deny that this game has been a real comfort to me over the past two years. and even now, a few weeks after uninstalling, I'll look down at my phone and have the urge to play it. but I'm going to be just fine without it.
anyway, i bring this all up bc im finding it very funny that all of the ads on all of my social media platforms, are about gardenscape lol.
they want me back so bad its hilarious
