Is it still tracing?

I use a 3D program called Design Doll as a reference tool and sometimes if im just trying to finish a drawing fast I will draw a skeleton over the picture of the model, is this considered tracing?? I mean Pro animators used you trace over 3D models they made, and I did make the model so where is the line crossed??? I can draw normally but sometimes I really want this angle and I just can’t get it! Heck for example my icon is one! I made a model and draw over it.
