The Fall |Closed - lokih|
Sigyn stared at the large emerald on her ring finger. It was rather heavy on her hand and she pondered the need for such an ostentatious ring. Surely her new husband would not be too hurt should she choose to replace it with a simple gold band and save the large jewel for a more formal occasion than everyday wear.
Sigyn smiled at the word ‘husband’. It’s been three days since the wedding and it all still felt so surreal. She was so lucky, she thought, to marry the love of her life. In the months that he courted her, Loki became so much more than a romantic interest; he was her best friend. Sure they had fights but those wouldn’t last long as both parties would quickly realize their mistakes and find compromises.
Sigyn occupied a small bench just big enough for two across from a grand gold fountain. A garden of multi colored flowers surrounded her as she basked in the glow of the late morning sun. The air still had a bite of chill despite the late spring season. Sigyn wore a navy blue, velvet dress. It was off the shoulders with long tight sleeves and a bodice that hugged her every curve to the hips where it met an flared skirt. The hem of the skirt and sleeves bore gold thread in a swirling pattern bringing some dimension to the dress.
