I knew it would disappear but I didn't want to think I was at all responsible for that. WB really needs to just give us a box set.

Hawaiian Eye TV series intro.
From my meager collection of Tracy Steele gifs. The first two are from an appearance on 77 Sunset Strip, rather than Hawaiian Eye, I do believe. The third is from the Hawaiian Eye episode Made in Japan. Anthony Eisley was a sorely underappreciated talent. <3
Happy heavenly 101st birthday to Anthony Eisley (01-19-1925 — 01-29-2003). He was best known for his role as private investigator Tracy Steele on Hawaiian Eye. That’s what put him on my radar, at least. (Although I did see him on a couple of Wild Wild West episodes before I ever watched Hawaiian Eye.)
It frustrates me that Hawaiian Eye (and Surfside 6) has never gotten a DVD release. Every time someone shares en episode online, it disappears within a few days, maybe weeks. The most common reason given for why there's never been an official release is music rights.
Yet, several videos of just the musical performances have been on YouTube for years and gone unchallenged...
