When Should You Trade-In A Video Game?

Here is a serious question that I’ve been thinking about. Anyone and everyone feel free to comment and give me your view/take on this situation.

So, I’ve stopped playing ARMS on my Nintendo Switch for a while now. I haven’t seriously played ARMS since October 20th (at least). There was a week where I did not play with/touch my switch because I was waiting for Super Mario Odyssey to come out. Now, that Super Mario Odyssey has been out and I’ve invested 45+ hours into it, I’m questioning my ownership of ARMS. I have thoughts like ‘What is the point of owning a game I do not play anymore?’ ‘When should I trade it in?’ ‘Should I even turn it in?’ Even though these thoughts occur, I also have thoughts of ‘What if I trade it in and then I wanna play it again?’ ‘Am I ready to give up this game in favor of a new game?’ 

I’m a very sentimental person and that also bleeds into my gaming hobby. It is about to be a month that I haven’t played ARMS, should I trade it in? 

It is important to note: Yes, I have traded in used games before, only difference is that they are games I know I will never play again. There were old DS games etc.

the memento mori trade-in set was the first one i ever completed. since then, i’ve been able to complete a few more o_o thanks crazy gacha promos...

i’d also like to say how thankful i am that this very small list of sets includes the cinderella one (like... whoa!) and the strawberry bunny one. i lusted after that cinderella clock frame in @games (which i haven’t played since last summer at least!) and love the strawberry bunny stages - they are detailed and cute but general enough to be used year-round. and the art on the easter trade-in sets is just gorgeous 😊
