These chicken wings cooked on a Traeger have the perfect mix of sweet and smoky flavors. As the smoke rises, the marinade turns into a caramelized glaze that will make everyone want more.
Ingredients: 3 lbs chicken wings. 1 cup brown sugar. 1/2 cup honey. 1/4 cup soy sauce. 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar. 1 tbsp smoked paprika. 1 tsp garlic powder. 1 tsp onion powder. 1/2 tsp black pepper. 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper. Wood chips for smoking.
Instructions: In a bowl, mix brown sugar, honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and cayenne pepper to create the marinade. Place chicken wings in a resealable bag or bowl, pour half of the marinade over the wings, and marinate for at least 2 hours or overnight in the refrigerator. Preheat your Traeger grill to 225F 107C and add wood chips for smoking. Remove wings from the marinade and place them on the grill grates. Discard the used marinade. Smoke the wings for 2 hours, maintaining a consistent temperature. Brush the remaining marinade over the wings and continue smoking for an additional 30-45 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165F 74C. Remove smoked wings from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
