a lil starter for @tragcdys !
getting to go out on a date with aaron had become a rarity since the couple became parents. don’t get her wrong, marleny loved staying at home with the kids and going out with them to dinner, but she wanted to keep the spark alive between herself and aaron. the last thing that she wanted to do was lose the romance in their relationship since most of their day consisted of caring for their children. marleny had gotten a reservation to one of their favorite restaurants, and she was determined for the night to go well. the kids were with their grandparents, and she even dug into her closet to find a striped navy and white balmain dress that hugged every inch of her frame. she’d be lying if she said she wasn’t a little nervous about this night -- she hadn’t worn anything skintight since before the twins were born and she felt a little weird while tugging at the hem as they stood in line at the restaurant. “i hope they still have that baklava ice cream they had when we came here the first time.” marleny turns to aaron, a smile on her lips. “i’ve been looking forward to this night since we decided to do it.”
