Mad Mutants Theory #1: Dr. Dirk is secretly a mutant
Reason(s)/Question(s):
• Why does Dr. Dirk need a human specimen to use for his gene splicing chamber, while being a human himself? Well, the reason for him needing an actual human specimen, with no mutated genes or altered DNA is because he knows that he is mutant himself.
Possible Explanation(s):
• There is a possibility that Mutants can disguise themselves as regular people while also having a mutation in their genes. Quoted by one of the characters in the pilot, "Maybe she is a mutant, but she is trying to hide it." This quote could signify either it is common and/or rare to see a regular people that are secretly mutants themselves.
• This could relate to people with certain health conditions, but they are not visibly shown at all, but still have that said condition(s).
• Lastly, considering the size of the blast; it also has effected him, especially it was taken in his own damn house.
Conclusion:
In conclusion, it's possible that Dr. Dirk is secretly a mutant, hence why him needing a human specimen (that doesn't any gene/DNA mutations).
Overall, yes this theory is well terrible with poor evidence because it made with observation of detail poorly and being fun thought to think about the series on where the series is going.
Headcanon(s):
• If Dr. Dirk is secretly a mutant, I speculate that either he be a rabbit or hare mutant just like his daughter in some way (father/daughter bound). Either that, or being a bug or parasitic-like mutant because of his actions onto Xavierberg, like, no one else likes him, they're mostly scared of him (reasonable). In addition with his relationship with Patty, seen so far from his teaser and the pilot, and as we seen... It's not a decent relationship. Almost so far as toxic to an abusive father/daughter relationship making him a parasite to Patty, almost making him the monster himself...
That being said, I kind of want to see some opinions and/or criticism here and there. Just no hate please, I'm not dealing with it.
Have a good Easter y'all!
