We feed them with soluble high potash feed to keep them looking fab and flowering.

Geraniums are easy to keep & do not need as much water as mixed hanging baskets. We like them hanging around our nursery shop

First batch of Our Balkon red trailing geraniums are ready.

These are grown from cuttings, which makes them stronger than seed grown ones.

These are in the heated greenhouse.

They will need protection until the risk of frost is over.

Pop in and have a look.

Geraniums look great in a hanging basket or pot.

We love them round the edge of the nursery shop.

For a hanging basket or pot, approximately 16inch we plant with osmocote slow release fertiliser, water retaining gel and Levington M3 compost. Just three plants per basket.

For mixed baskets we plant 1 x upright plant in the middle such as a Geranium, begonia non stop, bush fuchsia, or Impatients, then 5 trailing plants such as bidens, lobelia, fuchsia, diascia, calibrachoa, Bacopa, million bells, helychrysum, nepeta, brachycombe, verbena, plectranthus or trailing begonia around the edge.

We are open seven days a week 10am - 4pm, including every day over Easter & Easter Sunday.

We still have plenty of pelargonium (geraniums) upright and trailing.

These will keep flowering well into Autumn if you feed them with a high potash feed.

They can be over wintered too, if they are kept just above frost protection.

We recommend feeding with Vitax fruit and flower which is much stronger than tomato feed.

We adore red trailing pelargonium.

We have plenty of hanging baskets looking good and More geraniums in 2 Litre pots if you have any gaps to fill!

They like regular feed with a high potash feed to keep them flowering.

The first few Balkon red trailing geranium baskets are ready.

We have lots more growing on too.

We plant three Balkon geraniums in a 16inch hanging basket with osmocote slow release fertiliser, water retaining gel and Levington M3 compost.

When they start to flower we liquid feed them with Vitax high potash feed twice a week.

We will be planting lots more of these hanging baskets as we like to have them around the nursery shop when the risk of frost is over.

Geraniums are in the heated greenhouse at present.

Summer bedding cannot go outside until the risk of frost is over.

Geraniums are particularly fab as they do not need as much watering in the summer as other bedding.
