കൊല്‍ക്കത്ത : ബികാനീര്‍-ഗുവാഹത്തി എക്സ്പ്രസ് പാളംതെറ്റി (Train derails) അപകടത്തില്‍ മൂന്നു പേര്‍ മരിച്ചതായി റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ട്. അപകടത്തില്‍ നിരവധി പേര്‍ക്ക് പരിക്കേറ്റിട്ടുണ്ട്. പശ്ചിമ ബംഗാളിലെ (West Bengal) ജല്‍പായ്ഗുരിന് അടുത്തായിരുന്നു അപകടം. ആറു ബോഗികളാണ് അപകടത്തില്‍പ്പെട്ടത്. ഇതില്‍ മൂന്ന് ബോഗികള്‍ പാളത്തില്‍നിന്ന് പുറത്തേക്ക് തെറിച്ചു വീണിട്ടുണ്ട്. അപകടത്തെ തുടര്‍ന്ന് ബോഗികള്‍ കൂട്ടിയിടിച്ച്‌…

The Guwahati-Bikaner Express train derailed near the Maynaguri town of Jalpaiguri district in West Bengal today. At least three people have been killed and over 20 injured. Many passengers are feared trapped inside the derailed coaches and gas cutters are being used to cut open the mangled coaches, according to Railway sources.

The CP train that derailed in rural Saskatchewan earlier this week leaked more than six times the amount of oil spilled during the 2016 Husky Energy pipeline disaster.

The Canadian Pacific Railway train that derailed in rural Saskatchewan earlier this week leaked more than four times the amount of oil spilled during the 2016 Husky Energy pipeline disaster in the same province.

An estimated 1.5 million litres of crude leaked from the train, the Transportation Safety Board of Canada (TSB) said Wednesday evening in its first major update on the derailment just after midnight on Monday.

By comparison, 225,000 litres of oil leaked into the North Saskatchewan River from a Husky line near Maidstone in July 2016.

लखनऊ| उत्तर प्रदेश के कानपुर में रूमा गांव के नजदीक शनिवार देर रात करीब 1 बजे  ट्रेन हादसा हुआ है. यहां ट्रेन संख्या-12303 हावड़ा से नई दिल्ली जा रही पूर्वा एक्सप्रेस की 12 बोगियां पटरी से उतर गई हैं. हादसे में अब तक किसी के हताहत होने की सूचना नहीं है जबकि 20 यात्रियों के घायल होने की खबर है. मौके पर राहत-बचाव अभियान जारी है.

One Dies, Many Passengers Injured As train Derails In Lagos

One passenger died while many others were injured on Thursday when a mass transit shuttle train derailed at the Ashade railway crossing in the Mangoro area of Lagos State.

It was gathered that the accident occurred around 7am.

The Lagos Railway District Manager, Jerry Ochi, told the News Agency of Nigeria that the victim died at the NRC hospital in Ebute Meta while receiving treatment.
