Pokemon Headcanon: Khoury/[Lass] Janice + Children
a little different from how I usually do my “here’s a ship/parent and their kid/children” thing but I figured changing things up is nice. But also because I wanted to share a bit about Khoury and just some Lass character’s daughter, who is inspired by and an expy of Chloe Price from the LiS series (if any y’all know that series. then you know. you know what i’m gonna do. funny enough, i’ve made 2 other characters who are an expy from the series lol).

Callee has always wanted to be a Pokemon Breeder like her father, Khoury since she could ever remember. He’s taught her so much about the Pokemon world and the lives of every single Pokemon that he’s helped bred.
She would always help out Khoury when he goes to work and absolutely loved being surrounded by Pokemon. She finds them so wonderful and innocent, especially when they first hatch out of their eggs. Khoury would tell Callee that she’s just holding some sort of idealized romanticization about his work as a Pokemon Breeder, but that doesn’t stop Callee from wanting to follow in his footsteps.
Callee, asides from being an aspiring Pokemon Breeder, is also an ace when it comes to sports, specifically softball. Callee is also pretty great at rugby. Both her softball and rugby teams have won every single game and she has the trophies to prove it. Her second dream, if her aspiration of being a Pokemon Breeder doesn’t fall through, is to become a famous softball and rugby player.
Her best friend is Madeleine and they have been inseparable ever since they met in kindergarten. They both play pretend-Trainers and explorers every time they hang out with each other. There was even one point in time where Callee decided that she was going to marry Madie when they grow up, and Madie happily accepted Callee’s proposal.
Around the summer of Callee’s thirteenth birthday, her father, Khoury, had gotten into a devastating accident on the job. He had been off on a rescue mission to bring back an abandoned Pokemon egg to help care and breed it. However, when he had gone to the site, he realized his mistake too late. The egg was not abandoned, it had actually been lost and when the mother of the egg came back, she immediately went into attack mode in order to keep her egg safe. That involved Khoury being killed on the spot as he was trying to calm the mother down.
When news of Khoury’s death reached Callee and Janice broke down. Janice had to be taken to identify Khoury’s body while Callee spent her thirteenth birthday holed up in her room, crying while Madie stayed by her side. Which ends up becoming horrible luck when Madie tells Callee that her mother has to move to Kalos to further her Pokemon Professor Apprenticeship by being an assistant to Professor Sycamore. It was undoubtedly, shitty timing.
Callee, upon losing her dad (and her best friend during these trying times), grew darker, colder, and more rebellious. She now scowled at Pokemon eggs and Pokemon. She grew to hate them, despised them even. Pokemon took her father away, so it only made sense to her that she took Pokemon away. She vowed to hunt down every single Pokemon and kill them, the same way they killed Khoury.
