A bit of information to explain what’s been keeping this blog dead

I was supposed to move. If you follow my main you’ve seen posts talking about moving to New Orleans (I think I even mentioned it here). That's still supposed to happen but dates have become so flimsy that I have no idea when it’s meant to happen

My life has been hell. From no money to bug infestations to my laptop basically being dead, I’ve not been able to find steady time to draw nor motivation to do so. This blog means a lot to me and not being able to produce something good, even if it’s only seen by two people, hurts me.

My motivation has hit a drop. My mind is more focused on how terrible things are happening to the world around me then ever and it’s caused a steep plummet for my motivation to produce anything. Even when I do draw something I hate it after 2 seconds and can't bring myself to try again.

There is more but at this point, I think I’ve started to dig back up. I’ve got someone who really cares about me now and is helping me fix some of these problems. I still need to do a lot, like find a proper job and such but it’s getting better.

Once I find my black I’m going to wipe this blog (almost) clean and start over. I’m keeping only a handful of characters. Those are Lucien, Dallas, Kai, and Hana as well a few characters I never introduced. Core things will also remain such as the fact they live in a Kalos bakery, Lucien has trama from a previous trainer, etc. However, I want to try and focus on this more like... A diary. Each daily post will just be a random event in their life to give ideas to you all what you should ask. Asks will be used to either unlock more character information or to push forward into some form of event (I did have a bunch of ideas moving forward about events that can happen). I do have some form of story planned... Just some parts are jumbled.

I hope there is still at least one person on this site who would like to see me try this. This is my attempt at regaining a rhythm in my life... In the end, I want to thank the daily Pokemon community. I would probably be much worse off if it weren't for the wonderful people I met here. If anyone can point me to active daily blogs I would appreciate it a lot. I really want to come back a give it my all. 💙🖤❤️

almost 1 full year

it’s been almost 1 full year of this blog being a part of my life and even though i’m currently trying to break out of this weird hiatus (because i have the pictures and stuff i just... i haven’t posted any of them because i’m not on my computer half the time) i wanted to share some small things from close to this blogs beginning 1. riolu’s backstory wasn’t thought of until after someone asked about the black line on his tail. when they asked i realized riolus don’t have that in the games and for some reason i just suddenly had the entire story pop in my head.  2. the whole reason behind me picking riolu as the blog character was a combination of a. i never hand a riolu in a pokemon game, only lucario which i didn’t get until pokemon x&y b. riolu was the easiest pokemon for me to get used to drawing and c. i didn’t see any riolu blogs when i was choosing! 3. the look for the trainer was based on an old idea for a youtube channel called JadeMadness! the original idea was she was outgoing and punky but she’s just become a kinder me! 4. i never had a proper blog before so i went into this blind which is why i sent out so many asks to people (eventually that just built more of riolu’s personality) and as a final tidbit 5. my original art was done with crayons and ballpoint/inkgel pens which caused it to be done much larger than it is now! thank you all for sticking with me through this and hopefully i can keep running this blog, i honestly never expected to gain so many followers or ever be asked how i got so popular (i never intended to be popular, i just did this for fun). seriously though THANK YOU GUYS FOR BEING HERE!

So far for the ideas you suggested. Currently skitty, weavile and pyroar are my favorites. As for lucario and growlith which were suggested I want to avoid confusion with the eggys and hanabusa. Fusion eggys I will use the half less visable (litwik, horsea, etc...etc.) in the Pokémon but for most of the future ones you will find out if they are suggested.

If you see me reblog a giveaway post

I've found myself avoiding the giveaway stuff involving art or designs (only going for egg or item ones really) after the streak of winning I had a while back. The reason is because, for art, I feel the thing I actually want is too odd, and I restrict myself from asking for it (instead most of the things I ask for are related to the blog). The reason I avoid design giveaways is completely different though, I feel I cannot do the design justice and give it the personality and life the creator can. I always feel close to the designs I make and as I make them I see the personality come to life, which is why I feel creators are the ones that can bring the personality to the design more then I could through winning it. If you see me reblogging these types of giveaways (unless the tags don't say #boost!) it will most likely be to show the blog and giveaway to you guys as a boost! Just an FYI for my reasons and what I'm really doing for the giveaways

Hey kid, I hear you are going into a hunger games of sorts. Word of advice stay on the side lines and let everyone kill each other first and then go in for the killing blow on the other guy. I will be watching to cheer you on.

we don’t have the time to draw a response but….Hanabusa: Riolu isn’t in the thing, I am but don’t worry about me attacking! If anything I’m plotting type advantage attacks to take out some other Pokémon! That cutiefly though… that’s the one worrying me.

Love Ball, Net Ball and Master Ball for the Poke Ball meme?

Love ball: (fav pokemon) i can’t choose 1 favorite but my top 3 are Absol, Cubone, and of course Riolu!!

Net ball: (fav villians) it’s tough to choose but i love the alola team skull Guzma! he’s just relatable and stuff. i think they hit it out of the park with sun and moon actually, making relatable and amazingly depth characters AND pokemon with the realistic situations! whoops... went on a tangent didn’t I ^^,

Master Ball: (fav legendary) victini, meloetta, and celebi are all tied for my favorite! seriously! they’re amazing in their own ways! while one is my first proper legendary catch, another is my first plush pokemon, and the other is A FLIPPING TIME TRAVELING ONION FAIRY!

i’m doing much better now! gonna be posting again on tuesday! <3TO THE POKEBALL ASKS!Fast Ball: (means to get around pokemon world) I love using the bike because it’s fast and i get to see the world around me (in alola though i tend to use the Mudsdale ride just because i love mudsdale!)

Nest ball: (fav region?) i love the kalos region! it’s so diverse and centralized making it hard to really get lost. if you keep going one way you’ll eventually end up where you need to go.

Quick ball: (luckiest memory) When i found a random shiny azuil while trying to get the shiny charm in pokemon x! i was just trying to evolve my pokemon and POOF there he was!

Dusk ball: (unluckiest) i 1 shot tapu lele and then proceeded to not teach a pokemon false swipe and had to kill them AGAIN! like seriously it took me so many tries to get them because i kept forgetting to teach a pokemon false swipe!
