Dec. 13, 2017 • I think I’m going to give myself the 7 day black and white challenge. Knowing me, that number might be arbitrary. In my last post, I did it so hastily that I didn’t really notice that the gentleman in the photo is actually just looking down at his phone. (And in hindsight, I’m a little “Well, that photo isn’t really that good... maybe I shouldn’t have posted it?” Welcome to the world inside my head.) 🙃I’m also not that interested in doing a series of photos of people looking at their phones... but it is quite the epidemic we have on our hands, and I do take photos of it here and there. I’m more likely to take photos of other people taking photos of themselves (side note), which I’ve seen someone do as a project, and I’m also not that interested in displaying personality. (Although I might some day?) Again, welcome to the inside of my brain, all, 13-31 of you that *might read this. 😉 I also don’t think this is a great photo, but I have one more that will go with these two and it’s more interesting in black and white and and maybe the sum of the parts will make them all a little more interesting. Or maybe I’m full of it and I just like to ramble. That’s probably it. 😉 BUT it makes me think if I WAS a street photographer that there is some kind of a “Despondent Traveler” series that’s just waiting for me to put together. 😊 I’ve also decided that it’s ok to fail (I’ve had some failures as of late I’ve been shaming myself for) and that regardless of what I think, (if photos are good or not), while I don’t want to just post crap, I also don’t want @jamesclifton to suffer because of @jaymehalbritter. And now I have a split personality disorder. Great. I also think I’m the only person in the world that uses parentheses to express my sub thoughts. And it seems like the use of emoticons isn’t really that popular on the Instagram.
