With the day slowly approaching its evening, most of the other residents of the Davenport estate had already wandered off to tend to whatever other errands they had, or had settled down for a meal and perhaps rest after a long day filled with chores and training.
Katarina , however, had not retired from her tasks just yet.
For the last hour or so she had been busily working in the kitchen, making sweet rolls to go with the thick, deer meat and mixed vegetable stew that she had cooked up from scratch. Though, it was not meant for any big dinner or even a small gathering. It had become a bit of a tradition for Katarina to make some sort of snack for herself and for the others who often trained with her. This time she decided to do something a bit different, this meal was meant for just two.
Having stepped out on to the porch, Katarina called out to the dark haired Assassin who was still chopping up wood logs for the fireplace.
“Are you comin' in to eat or not, Shay? If you don't hurry up I'll just have to eat all this good food for you! ”

Is this not a set up for a pun?

How how he hated being among such feeble minds. Granted, one would never expect much from a tavern filled with drunken brigands and varlets who fancied themselves pirates and raiders of the seas. Just merely looking at them made Julius sick with disgust.
High above the intoxicated crowds below, he sat in his usual perch in the second floor that overlooked the main floor and watched the rabble go about their rowdy ways. Julius often came to the tavern for the sake of finding order among the chaos. In a way, by flooding his eyes and ears with the noise of the crowds it allowed him to continue his work as a mastermind of war.
Just as his hand moved to scribble down a note or two in the leather bound journal laying on the dimly lit table before him Julius paused when the faint, almost nonexistent, sound of of footsteps echoed from the stairway behind him.
“If your intent was to sneak up on me... You will have to try much harder to do so.”
traitorofhistory said: "I just can’t help but wonder; why Pizza Rolls? How practical are these wee things!? The Assassins made Pizza Bagels…" Shay chuckles sheepishly as his hand scratches the back of neck.
"Have you ever had Pizza Rolls? They are quite satisfying." Haytham crossed his arms and rolled his eyes. "Would you rather have Pizza Bagels?"
(I didn't have this account set up at the time so I had to ask anon! I just wanted to say thank you again for making/letting me use the best theme I have seen in a while. It ended up being the inspiration that completed this blog!)
I am glad you like it :)
