🍓 for 3 (rip), 🍊 for Stinky?
I see we’ve got a common theme, here!
🍓 : how is my muse typically seen by others? does it ring true to who they really are? does their reputation matter to them?
Most people that see him are… Reasonably frightened. He’s over 8 feet tall, has massive claws, and just looks like a monster straight out of a horror flick.
Not helping his case is that, whenever he needs to do shopping or 8 convinces him to go out and stretch in fresh air, he’s taken to sneaking around Inkopolis to avoid too much negative attention… Which has caused him to become the local Cryptid. While it was an amusing idea at first, it’s no longer fun and games when the rumors make him out to be a monster who will electrocute you to death, and then eat your corpse if you walk into the wrong alleyway past 3am.
It certainly doesn’t ring true for him, but due to a few cases where he’s lost complete control over himself, 3 does… Tend to think that it is true. And this is something he despises.
Before becoming an agent, 3′s reputation meant very little to him. He didn’t care what others thought about him, and he generally assumed that, outside of his friend circle, the general opinion was that he was a bit of a jerk. However, when his boss let it slip that he was saving the Zapfish, he had a good reputation all of the sudden. Not just good, but great. So because he was considered a hero for at least two years up to this point, he does fret over his reputation a bit more, now…
It’s kindof troublesome when the hero gets turned into a monster, right?
He still calls himself 3, clinging onto any shreds of self that he still has, but he’s fearful of what the public would do, or how old admirers would react if they found out what had happened to their role model…
Despite going through the same situation as 3, the general view of 8 is a fair bight lighter. Overall, she just looks really weird. Maybe even uncanny on a bad day.
In a general sense, people tend to avoid her, but they aren’t particularly afraid of her. Maybe a bit nervous, due to her strange appearance and the fact that she’s half Salmonid, now… But she won’t send someone running in the opposite direction. She had a few “cryptid” stories surrounding her early on, but thanks to Takoko forming a League team with her and a couple other odd characters (another Octarian and Lucas the Salmonid), she’s seen by people a lot more than 3 is.
This is something that she tries to not let get in her way, but it is pretty difficult. She is very much a social butterfly and wants to be out and about with friends and people, but... That’s been really difficult.
8 is one that thinks about her reputation, and ultimately it’s something that she does worry about now and again. She wants to be liked, she wants to have a lot of friends and companions. When she came to Inkopolis and got popular for her ties to Pearl and Marina (Oh, and for taking out NiLS), she drank it up! However…
These days people won’t even look her in the eye, if they can help it, and she hates it. Making matters worse, her previous League team dropped her like a sack of hot potatoes when they found out what she had become, making her realize that maybe some of her “friends” weren’t that close to her as a person in the first place. That completely devastated her, and broke her spirits for a good week after.
Despite this, she keeps trying. She’s stubborn and tenacious, and she’s going to do her best, even if she looks like a freak.
🍊 : does my muse desire romance? is it something they would actively seek out, or prefer to happen more ‘ naturally? ’ what is their love life like? do they have any exes or past flings, or crushes?
Truthfully, Stinky isn’t one that actively goes after romance. He’s not against the idea, however he finds it a little difficult to feel more than a basic attraction, and struggles in imagining a friendship going beyond just that. Really, he isn’t much of a romantic person, or much of a cuddler either, which may cause some problems if the girl he winds up dating is one that likes a lot of romantic nights.
If he were to get together with someone, it’d be a person he’s already got a connection with–in short, he’d be perfectly happy dating someone he considers his “best friend.” Someone he’s comfortable being himself with, and is comfortable being herself with him. So if a relationship develops naturally from a friendship, he’d be pretty ok with that! But... It’s a matter of him actually feeling it, if you get what I mean.
He doesn’t have much in the way of a love life! He dated one gal years ago, but despite them still being friends, it didn’t work out between them romantically, and he’s simply not gotten into another relationship since. He’d prefer to get his own life in order first, before trying to make it work with another person.
