Traktor Pro 2.6.8 — a tweak and a fix
Once upon a time, musical hardware had no issues with other types of musical hardware. You had a piano that produced sound on its own, next to a drum set that clearly produced its own sound. When put inside of a room, one was louder than the other – so the drummer simply played quieter to add balance to that. The next stage involved adding microphones to instruments, so that their sound levels could be controlled by an operator who could manage sound independently of each musician. One of the biggest problems back them was making sure we had the right cables to connect to the right audio – and it wasn’t until many of these cables were made universal that these problems were easily fixed. Today, cables are the least of our problems. They are cheap and easy to find, and if you need an adapter they are also easy to find. The problem today is software. Software doesn’t work with other software unless it is told to do so. When a DJ puts all of their eggs into one computer basket – therein lies the problem. If that software fails to work, then nothing works. It doesn’t matter if everything else is in line. http://djworx.com/update-traktor-pro-2-6-8-tweak-fix/#.Uw_nmfldW1A
