LTPB tram no 2265 interior by Frederick Via Flickr: An old photograph stamped as being taken by 'D. W. K. Jones' of the bottom saloon interior of London Passenger Transport Board (LPTB) car no 2265, an ex Metropolitan Electric Tramways (MET) car no 220. No 2265 was built in ???? by the MET at their Hendon Works as open top double deck car no 220 seating 32/42 and running on M&G type trucks, it was given a top cover in 1929. In 1933 ownership moved to the LPTB where it was renumbered 2265, being withdrawn/scrapped between Jun 1938 - Jan 1939.
