24 April saw patrons, come together for the #SoundsLikeFreedom edition, at His and Hers Jams in Soweto.
Being the eve of pay-day, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect, with the rand being so low and all. But soon realized something, about this church, you don’t have to feel like you digging too deep for donations (Bar and Food prices) aren’t that bad.
Its starts getting lively around 3pm, there’s a sense of freedom and being at home, as the different characters start flocking.
It feels like everyone knows each other like, that one favourite outing you look forward to, with friends and family.
Soothing sounds play in the background followed by bursts of laughter and conversations.
It felt like, something from a **King Kong set** Whatever that era felt like, that’s the vibe I got.
To all the ‘foodies’ be it Vegetarian or you Meat eater! You’ll be well taken care off. Good to go eatery were servicing tantalizing gourmet burgers.
Oh! and to those that will be visiting for the first time or to the regular attendee, you’ll be glad to know they also accept visa cards.

After the selectors, took us on a trip around the globe, it was time to listen to some live music!
Bholoja was quick to enchant people with he’s smooth tranquil sounds. An emotional set that reminded us why unity is so important amongst the human race.
Like the Rastas would say (Fi-Nice we have to do it twice)!
Tidal Waves are undoubtedly one of the best, (reggae outfits) to come out of South Africa.
Cheers to a great day…
