1st appointment
Just got home from the first appointment to the doctor who will be prescribing me T! It went well, just a lot of information, very quickly. My blood work will be next week, and then 2 weeks after that my follow up for a prescription, likely for the cream. Also he mistook me for a MTF patient rather than FTM. *smug grin* Can’t help taking it as a compliment.
Also, I came out to my not-twin sister, she said she knew. Whew! What a day! All before lunch!
I don’t know if it is my state (AZ) that does this, but he doesn’t seem to prescribe the kind on T that you get a vial of, and syringes, and take home. He said that instead that would be weekly shots, in office, for at least $25 each. So we are going for a cream which he said would be around $75 a month. Hmm. Does anyone in AZ have any info on injectable T not being a take-home prescription?
