as a trans and irish person i connected so deeply to the main character charlie and i loved seeing my city so beautifully captured :D

see, the thing is there is a trope about trans women who are killers, which is no good and needs to be challenged. but on the other hand trans women in cinema deserve to kill. so it's a tough one

some movies in which i think it's made quite justifiable that trans women/tranfemme/feminine transvestites killed include: funeral parade of roses, monkey man, assassination nation, i am my own woman, sleepaway camp

also one of these is a documentary, so she actually killed her father (a nazi) during world war ii. heroism, honestly
