Speaking of trans man Steve and binders: I often think about the fact that, one of the main deciding factors about getting my top surgery done (outside of the dysphoria) was my asthma which pretty much made it hell to bind. I mean it's possible sure, but feeling like you were on the verge of an attack all day was not fun. So I just imagine sometimes pre-serum Steve, AU or what ever, being a stubborn butt and binding anyway, even on bad lung days, and Bucky having to sit there and go 'Steve, Steve please.' While also saving up every fucking dime they can so that maybe one day they can get Steve that top surgery he really needs. Just...binding with asthma and Steve having to deal with that. Yep.
