Sebastian Stan behind the scenes of Captain America: Civil War (2016) part 2
People who say "Women only like Bucky because he's played by Sebastian Stan and good-looking" are inexplicable to me. Have they actually spoken to any women? Ever?
Women like Bucky because he's female-coded. Women like Bucky because he's does't fit into traditional gender norms. He's not always in charge, in control, doesn't throw his weight around and doesn't use violence as a first resort.
Women like Bucky because his loss of autonomy and agency resonates with us in some way, but also his wish to regain that agency is aspirational.
Women like Bucky because a male character who speaks to the female experience is so rare.
(Also he's always polite and respectful to women and never objectifies them).

Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR
Steve + text posts pt. 16/?
realising the reason you can hear bucky fondly say "steve" and then actually laugh here is because this is bucky realising he's safe. picture his situation, he's just been brainwashed by zemo again, he's once again lost all agency and now so many people are looking for him, his memory of the brief winter soldier state he was in is probably slowly coming back to him so he remembers failing to escape and being knocked unconscious and now here he is, restrained to a damn hydraulic press in a dingy abandonded building nobody would find him in. this is a man who probably has nightmares every night of hydra taking him back, whose worst fears came to life not 24 hours ago when zemo read those words to him. the relief he must have felt when he saw it was just steve, the one person who actually trusts him, who he can believe in, no wonder he had to smile.
Team Iron man fans saying that Steve was wrong for not telling Tony that Bucky killed his parents but honestly, seeing how Tony handled finding out about it, I wouldn't have told him either. Tony was already willing to throw bucky into prison or an institution IMAGINE what he would've done if he found out bucky killed his parents while they still had him in custody. Steve was doing what he always has done, protect Bucky.
People openly supporting the revenge killing of a man who had NO control over his life for the past 70 years and wasn't even conscious for the majority of it because of something he did WHILE BRAINWASHED is insane to me.
(also please don't attack me I'm just stating my opinion TwT)
happy anniversary to captain america: civil war
