Summary: After a nasty break-up with Jean, Scott left the school and headed west to his home state of Alaska. For months, he's made his home there, feeling exiled from all the people he cares about. Then a familiar face shows up at his door unexpectedly; the face of his crush. Will Scott finally find some much needed and deserved happiness?

Some quick warnings: Scott deals with a lot of self-loathing because of two people he trusted most who make him feel wrong for being trans. There is some flashback dialogue that implies transphobia and homophobia, and there is some internal dialogue of Scott's that hints at feelings of transphobia toward himself. They're brief, and I hope that they're not too triggering. They're only meant to set the scene for Scott's depression during what he feels is his exile from the school and his friends and family there. It gets better, I promise. Really better.
