Trans Trigun Week Day 4-non op/post op

This is actually a re-draw of a piece I did a couple months ago. The concept here is based on the Venus of Arles. I was tired of all the art I’ve seen where they slap top surgery scars on classic sculptures. Why not let a trans man still have his boobs??

Here she holds an apple and a mirror. I gave Wolfwood a broken vial of his healing solution and of course the strap of the punisher! (Also his nipples are pierced because my partner and I made a joke one time and now it’s cannon to me.)

In the first draft I think the proportions look weird. You can see clearly how much better my grasp has gotten on anatomy. I’m happy I’ve been participating in art challenge/event weeks like this one!!

This concept is strong and I’m glad I re-visited it. (I may render this digitally some day.) My favorite thing about comparing the two though is that you can see how I’ve progressed in drawing Wolfwood. He’s gone from mildly accurate to '98 to looking like Vash‘s stoner girlfriend. And frankly I love that. He looks more distinct.

Trans Trigun Week Day 3-T4T/Family

Trans polygun!! Sketchy and low detail to emphasize comfort and rest. (The stripes in the back would be the trans flag if I had access to colored pencils.) MillyWood is t4t, Vashwood is t4t, MerylMilly is t4t, VashMeryl is t4t!! The whole gang is trans!! All at various points of transition.

Meryl (she/her) was pretty well off and was on blockers when she was younger. She went straight onto estrogen but has had very little breast development. Meryl hopes to get bottom surgery in the near future.

Milly (she/they) wasn’t as lucky. She didn’t begin her transition until her mid twenties. But she’s on hrt now and has been developing really quickly. She’s not planning on getting any surgeries.

Wolfwood (he/she/they/xe) is on testosterone, and has been for most of his life. He is intersex but underwent “corrective surgery“ through the EOM-resulting in the external appearance of masculine genitalia. Accelerated puberty did cause breast development, and Wolfwood intends to stay non-op on that front-He likes his chest.

Vash (he/they/it/she) has had top surgery and is also on T. Hes happy with the changes he’s made and is planning to get off T in a few years. He likes being androgynous and leans into being/dressing feminine.

Trans Trigun Week Day 1-Hair/Shaving

We should all feel empowered to be gender-non-conforming. That is not the privilege of the cis or passing. You’re still a man when you can’t bind, or when you don’t want to. You’re still a man when you’ve got long hair. When you wear makeup. When you wear dresses and skirts. Your rights to be yourself do not yield to “passing". Only you get to decide what a boy looks like.

Trans fem Legato and Nai!!

In my little AU Knives and Legato are murder wives! Nai actually loves and is kind to Legato and they’re both unhinged together. They run little meetings where they threaten to kill and eat people :)

And the fifth moon incident features a bunch of humans activating Vash’s angel arm-rather than Knives pseudo assaulting him. And Nai saves Vash by leveling the village and killing all the humans. Which of course leads to Vash being mad because not everyone deserved to die(and he probably thinks his assault was justified) and Nai being shocked her brother doesn’t see that she was trying to save him.

Everything else about these two is the same. They’re just cute and in love :3

-Headcannon that Wolfwood can’t get his top surgery to stay because of the healing vials, so he’s non op.

As a trans guy myself I really love drawing diverse trans body types! This is not meant to sexualize or be nsfw so don’t tag it as such. This is just me taking some pride the beauty and diversity of being trans!!
