Lance was a very feminine kid
Which gives him a lot of dysphoria because he’s a boy right?

He identifies as transmasc nonbinary for a long time because he was done with the gender binary
That lasts about a month
He was afraid he was faking it
Just like the time he thought he was a vampire
He was also afraid to let the “girl” part of him go
It took him a very long time to accept himself let alone come out
Was in a very abusive relationship in middleschool-highschool (pre-garrison)
Can’t remember a lot of it because of trauma
Does remember coming out to said person and having that person use it against him as blackmail
Eventually Hunk catches on and helps him break up with that dipshit
He’s known Hunk since they were five

His moms accepted him right away
