5. Paragon, Renegade or neutral?

Neutral! (really paragon but with a lot of renegade sprinkled in there lol)

8. Share a headcanon about your main Shepard.

Neneng’s last name isn’t really shepard. She was self conscious that her name sounded “too ethnic” with her very obvious tagalog last name so she changed it. I think the Philippines would still have a very heavy catholic influence that far into the future. So she was seeking refuge in a church and got inspired by the phrase “The lord is my shepherd”. She spelled it wrong because, ya know, she grew up on the streets.

9. Share a headcanon about your Shepard and their LI.

I think I may have mentioned this before? So Kaidan noticed that Neneng was a little down because of homesickness. Being the good bf that he is, he thought what better way to help than get Neneng a garland of sampaguita. It’s the national flower of the Philippines so the smell would remind her of home. She can keep it on her desk or something and when she’s feeling homesick, she can can just sniff it, right? A fool proof plan! But you can’t really get one unless you go to earth. So the next best thing was to requisition a synthetic version that was almost as good as the real thing and have it sent to the Normandy. When he got it, he was so so happy. He was so certain that Neneng would love it! He gives it to her and as soon as the smell reaches her nose she gags.

When Neneng was growing up on the streets of edsa, she had to sell the sampaguita garlands to make money as you do when you’re a poor kid in the Philippines. The smell of them just reminds her of those days, especially the hots ones, walking around car to car just making sure she had enough to at least get through the night. Just her and the garlands every day and night before she was old enough to start doing stuff for the reds. The smell would stay on her no matter how much she washed. She grew a strong disdain for the sampaguita.

So it was kind of awkward explaining the whole thing to Kaidan and Neneng feeling really guilty for hurting his feelings and gagging out of reflex. She appreciated the thought though but she couldn’t keep the garland and paid Kaidan back no matter how much he insisted that it wasn’t necessary.

10. Who is your Shepard’s best friend and why?

Kasumi! The two of them really clicked! Plus Neneng really liked having another asian person in her inner circle.

Haskel turned as the scout readied the horses. She was dressed plainly, but well, as usual for a day in Skyhold. The thing that seemed out of place was her expression. Halla was never hesitant.

“The Inquisitor herself comes to see the pirate off.” He tried to brush his slight pang of worry away with a grin.

“Just making sure you know your duty.” Ah, now the little dent in between her eyebrows was gone. “And that you don’t send any more distant cousins complaining to me.”

“I know what I’m looking for, Inquisitor. I’ve seen that Venatori emblem more times than I’d like, and hopefully I’ll see it many more.”

“Preferably when you rip their colors down from the mast.” All right, and there was the sharp tongue. She was fine. Except there was the little crease again. “And not when they take over your ship.”

“You’re turning morbid again, your Worship.” Haskel gentled his voice a little. Maybe she needed it. Maybe--

“Just come back alive, all right?” she blurted.

Ah.

What?

She stepped closer so the scouts wouldn’t hear them, switching languages to add another layer of secrecy. “I have few enough people I can be Halla in front of already. I couldn’t bear it if I lost one. And...I’ve lost enough family. Don’t make me lose more.” It wasn’t much of a movement on her part to grasp the sleeve of his shirt in her hand.

He put his hand over hers on his arm. “I’m the terror of the seas, Halla.” He kept his voice soft, speaking Orlesian back to her. “No Venatori will get the jump on me, and no land-walking Tevinter has any edge on me on the water.”

“Just be careful.”

“If I were careful, I wouldn’t be me.”

“Promise me, Haskel. You’ll come back alive.”

“I’ll come back alive.” He squeezed her hand. “Always.”

1. What is your character’s biggest fear?

Ending up being utterly alone. In the sense of every mortal he loves being killed or destroyed, or as the result of him destroying every other Divine. His fear is being the catalyst for destroying the universe and ending up completely alone.

2. What is your character’s favorite memory?

Waking up to Thrash still in his bed after the first time they slept together. He remembers to the exact detail the moment he fell completely over the edge for Thrash. It’s the best memory he always goes back to when he’s having a bad day.

5. Describe your character’s dream date.

Aegis loves to take Thrash out to their favorite cafe for dinner, will take him to a play or out to the beach to swim. Then of course have some sweet Fun Times TM if Thrash is in the mood.

6. What is your character’s sexual orientation?

Aegis is pan with a strong preference for men/masc people.

9. How does your character feel about religion?

When he was growing up religion was all around him, but as a young man he had no interest in it whatsoever unlike his twin brother. It was when they attempted to liberate Soleil from Aeranor and Daemertes that Aegis dedicated himself to Yna, the first Divine. He felt it was a means to an end, and they had an amicable deal. Aegis has a slightly complicated relationship with religion at this point in his life. He knows that he’s a god but he does not label himself as such, he treats his clergy as his family and often takes in those who are downtrodden. His wide acceptance of all people drew in the Changelings specifically. In all reality he wants to be treated like a normal person and treats all gods as normal people, despite their delusions of grandeur at times.

14. What is the cutest thing your character has ever done?

Aegis proposed to Thrash upon getting the Symphony back from Aristide in Kingsport. It was absolutely adorable, he bought a very pretty ring from a merchant in the Grove and when they were sailing back to mainland Imos he got down on one knee. IT WAS PRETTY CUTE.

I really fuckin’ miss you. It’s been two whole fuckin’ weeks and all I want to do is whisk you upstairs to our room. Not even for messin’ around, I just want to hold you and take in that smell you get after a bath. It’s that lavender and vanilla shit I think, the stuff I got you in Durhelm. When you get back from your trip there’s nothin’ else we’re gonna do besides talk and read to each other. Maybe I’ll get you some breakfast in bed and we can feed each other like newlyweds do. Which reminds me, you wanna get married when you get back? Proper and all that shit? Maybe it’s been all that time away from you but I just...wanna see you all lit up and happy. I wanna see you glow as I profess all that mushy crap to you that I’ll say in the dark after we’ve done a couple rounds.

Entropy is the hardest school of magic for Rhian. She was never able to master it, even at the end of Origins.

Because the Circle never really let you have your own belongings, she has a tendency to hoard things. This was bad for both Shale and Bodahn because both of them had to carry most of the inventory.

When Karl died, Rhian sort of felt it through the Fade. She appeared in Anders’ clinic and both of them mourned him the whole night.

❤️There are few days when Jasvin wakes up before Niles, but when she does she practically gets sucker punched with just how much she loves him every time. She has to stop herself from pulling him closer to her. He’s such a light sleeper that she’s always worried that if she does she might wake him, so she settles for watching him sleep until he wakes up on his own. Once he does she’ll pull him over and kiss his forehead.

❤️ Jasvin will readily admit to seeking Niles out the moment she isn’t busy. She doesn’t care if he’s busy with something or not. If he is she’ll help get whatever it is done faster so that they go hole up somewhere. It never matters what they end up doing. Usually, they end up curled up somewhere, talking, maybe a kiss or bite here or there, until they eventually nod off. They’ll stay like this until someone comes and finds them with something else that needs taking care of.

❤️ Jasvin loves showing off any bite marks she ends up with. She makes no effort to hide them, and even if she bothered to it wouldn’t make a difference. She always has this smug, pleased grin on her face the day after, and it only gets more obvious if Niles is wandering around with his own equally obvious bite marks.

❤️ To say Zariel was unimpressed by Saizo when they first met is an understatement. Sure she was a prisoner of Hoshido at the time, but all she could see was an angry little ninja who was only threatening her so easily because she was unarmed. Each one of his threats was met by her taunting him to give her back her tome and then they’d see who could beat who in a fight.

❤️ She is hard-pressed to admit that she found his near constant “surveillance” of her once she was no longer considered a prisoner endearing. Simply due to how it was painfully obvious that he was using it as an excuse to spend time with her. When she finally called him out on this, the blush that was creeping up from behind his mask just about killed her she found it so cute. Despite her unwillingness to admit that to anyone, she does like reminding Saizo how cute he is when he blushes.

❤️ Zariel adores that Saizo refers to her as a demon half the time, though it is something she only lets him get away with calling her. If it was anyone else they’d get zapped, but Saizo? Saizo just gets a kiss and confirmation that of course, she is.
