Blocklist’s are so fucking dumb, because just because YOU may not like one person’s content does not mean you have to publicly shame them, the block button and tag filter exists for a reason.

I was still rattled when you sent this earlier so I couldn't get the words together to reply to this, but now I want to say thank you very much. @dontfeedthestansaftermidnight was willing to have my back right away, as were other friends of mine here, and that support is worth everything.

agreed about blocklists, they're becoming a problem endemic in fandom and I wish people would use a bit more clear-headed thinking and realize why that can often be damaging behavior - they're spread indiscriminately and aimed at people who might not even be aware what's happening (I'd have had no idea had I not been told directly, and then I really wouldn't have been able to defend myself at all). it's not fair and it can easily cause harm.

anyway, this was lovely of you and I'm grateful for it. also I adore Benny, and he is a vampire teddy bear, you're right! 💙

Honestly, people like you are the literal best kinds of people in fandoms. I REALLY appreciate you allowing people to submit names of bloggers who deserve some love.

I personally have been trying to reach out to people who were hated on by the anon blogs, but this is such an efficient way to spread positivity.

As someone who has been bullies irl and on the internet, it disgusts me that those blogs are allowing people to be unnecessarily rude to others who are just trying to vibe on here.
