Rant

Okay, just a short thing on transgender rights or like gender identities in general because I was watching target protester videos and got mad. 

The argument of “Well a man could just say they identify as a woman and then go in the bathroom and rape/take pictures of/peep on women.” yeah okay first off they are still doing something illegal, rape/pictures/peeping is still illegal and in all reality if someone really wanted to do that in the first place they would find a way no matter what. That nice bit of knowledge didn’t actually come from me, it came from my father who (albeit is a huge homophobe and against trans and everything like that) despite all of his bullheaded opinions he still understands that no matter bathroom laws or not if a man wants to peep or rape a young girl he doesn’t know it will probably happen. Here is post that talks about what rapists look for when they look for targets and trust me, it isn’t just a blind “oh hey I'm going to go rape somebody” it’s thought out, it’s noticing a lot of small details, if you are a little kid simply going to the bathroom your parents are probably nearby and they should be. If not then I would be concerned if your parents should be the guardian of you, the point is they need to be at least in the store. Which to a rapist means someone will come looking for you if you go missing. Big blaring problem and deterrent. If you are a teenager or young adult by then as sad as it is you should know how to defend yourself. Yell, scream, fight back because it is still illegal for a person to touch you when you don’t want to be touched, for someone to take pictures of you, or to invade you privacy. Oh, and another thing why do they only talk about “woman and young girls” and how it will only be men dressing up as woman they... do realize that there are trans guys too right....??? Or did they not educate themselves enough to realize that? Along with the fact that they go “well he is still a GUY” and “they are letting GUYS into the GIRLS bathroom!!” no??? no?? the reason they are being let into that bathroom is because they are not the other gender. Also the argument of “well you need the right parts to go in the other bathroom” no if you needed to switch parts then the bathrooms should be labeled “penis” and “vagina” but no. That offended people too. It’s a big circle of offense and that offense is taking innocent people’s rights away. I am just. Urgh. SO MAD. This is why I shouldn’t be able to look up protests to gay and transgender right because I get SO FRIGGIN MAD. Okay, I’m ollie outy mates. Have a nice day.
