hi hello I was told you have a bunch of fun transfem wemmbu ideas will you tell me some of them? I absolutely love transfem wemmbu!

Well hi hello! I love transfem Wemmbu too! Such a funky gal!

Here are some of my transbu thoughts!

Very much started out as very flamboyant of sorts and during the PZE she started wondering about the 'what if's. She tried to explore that curious (winkwink) side of her but then Zam betrayed her and ridiculed her so she became more withdrawn and focused on revenge, trying to cover up that part of her for good.

Her whole fighting shtick was her trying to reclaim control and deny her 'weakness', which were the things she was widely mocked for (her affinity for presenting more fem was one of them).

During the invis arc she finally could actually be whoever she wanted to, there was no pre-perceived idea of 'Wemmbu' she had to live up to. Because of that she let herself go wild and experienced a whole lot of realizations. Maybe the reason she kept her hair so long wasn't just because it looked cool...

Post-invis arc she is stuck in the middle of who she used to be and who she realized she wants to be. In the prison she got more than a few sideeyes from Zam (who she hatefullu glared at <3) and others, all of which didn't keep down their gossip over how much she changed in such a short time, how the way she walks is way more graceful rather than a warning, how her voice is way softer, lighter, or even how she expanded her look (though she was only limited to her prison uniform, her hair was a free real estate and she made use of it by styling it in several different ways over her stay there!).

When she got to Pirate Civ Jaden immediately clocked her on her egg-behavior (he definitely found that hilarious cause wdym this is the gal who locked him up in a warden hellhole). Though Jaden never explicitly called her out on this he did his best to support her (as much as he could in that short time she stayed in Pirate Civ, considering they were both busy with The Law's.... ambitious expansion ideas...). Mostly small things like trying to ease her into being more openly fem without judgement, giving her fem things (clothing, accessories, he even thought about giving her a makeup kit but didnt get enough time).

Also I think she deep down cheered when Wyll called her Rapunzel during the tournament!

Also a part of me thinks Egg kinda knew but didn't wanna call her out, but another part of me wants Egg to be nonchalant and be confused about gender as a concept (eldritch ass being) but hey! Thats his bestie! Good for her! Whatever the hell go off queen!

OMG YES. THE INVIS ARC AS A TRAN ALLEGORY ABSOLYTELY.

I got unbelievably pissed when parrot revealed wemmbu's identity. it gave off the same vibes as someone trying to detrans a trans person know? I was so mad and so scared bc. idk that sounds so terrifying (as a trans person myself)

I love the idea of agender egg, and I love the idea of Jaden doing little things for Wemmbu to make her more comfortable <3

is zam just being stupid or actually transphobic in your au?

Parrot revealing Wemmbus identity really felt like outing a person unconsensually to me on the other hand. But I do see the detransing too! Kinda like denying her identity... I really wanted Parrot gone after that 😭 Mace to the face and all

I'm glad you like the ideas!! Agender Egg is really funny cuz it would fit in with his nonchalance I think? Like, the vibes are just there. And Jaden feels like a supportive little... friend (winkwink).

Hm... Zam is an interesting case in my view cuz to me she is sorta projecting? I think uu!Zam is a character who really wants to appear all high and mighty, even if she isn't. I think because of that she refused to acknowledge her own relation with gender? And only really indulged after the Empire fell!

Because of that the second she saw Wemmbu exploring her identity she decided to softly target that as well. Wemmbu's thing was very subtle and unspoken but that didn't stop Zam from using it against her. In general during PZE Arc we see Zam be very vicious because she projects a lot onto Wemmbu (disloyalty, deception, destructive tendencies, etc.) so I don't think that one is beyond her either. So she is envious as all hell </3
