I can think of several canonically disabled transformers in mtmte that are well portrayed. Mtmte is one of the few things ive been willing to read and one of the only comics ive ever really enjoyed that includes a character with adhd.

im…. im sorry i’m genuinely confused do you mean misfire? “proof that guns & adhd don’t mix”? that was a throwaway line that was based entirely on stereotype. in the scavengers issue any hyperactivity misfire gave off is dismissed as him being on drugs. also like, how would being distracted as a result of adhd cause your aim to be consistently awful . it doesn’t.. add up.. i honestly can’t think of any disabled characters that are written well in mtmte can you, please give me examples bc i have no idea who you could possibly be referring to

hi comics time. tc’s whole thing was really good, starscream’s whole thing was really good (& xe was really cute in it also !!) & for mtmte, 

i love everything about silent light (minus it being part of three comics thatwere all entirely a christmas special. “holiday” special my ass).. kotteri’s lines are really lively and cute and i hope they get to draw more for tf.. nautica was super charming (”i can hack it” *throws wrench* *KSHH* “hacked”). rodimus megatron & minimus were really funny in the beginning, and WHIRL!!!! MOM!!! shes a good egg, i want her to know shes good,, i love the protoform worldbuilding, and i want more mom whirl content . i mean fanon, of which ive seen already a nice amount, but canon somehow would be also great

anyway it’s good the holiday special was so nice 48 was pretty disappointing. really anticlimactic. glad froid is even more of a shit than previously let on, but that’s basically it. thems my thoughts

mtmte #47 is going to destroy my ass even worse than i initially thought. i just thought it would be pretty gay but, Gh? (preview spoilers?:) i saw the preview and went into A Panic.. it’s good scary but i am so so worried about tailgate it’s so stressful ;_____;

Starscream ships?

g1: STARSCREAM/SKYFIRE!!!! SO MUCH…. So Much. also i am very into platonic elite trine feele (skywarp/starscream/thundercracker). i don’t personally feel romo towards tc and warp but i’ve read good fic of it and it can be cute

idw: im not so much interested in idw ships? like personally im gay for rattrap so that’s ss/rattrap but i dont like actively look for content of it.. ss/wheeljack and ss/blurr is cute too

tfp: KO/SS that was the first tf thing i ever shipped and i still die for it. it’s so good. scree (our tfp starscream) is very gay for ko. thirst is basically our favorite episode

What traits do you share with starscream?

star answering for this. which means g1/idw. 

well besides Being starscream entirely, i’m narcissistic, which means a lot of things. highly unempathetic, very Very loud and self absorbed, superior to everyone around me, stuff like that. jewish, neurodivergent, & queer.. but for real this time.. abuse survivor… Extremely beautiful & charismatic.. that’s the gist of iti just realized this is probably in response to that meta i made in which i was referring to the Bad Coding (& survivor status). so i answered that plus more

i just saw that you have "sinnamon bun" on your about for brainstorm, and... thats Real... its her in canon...

IKR…. elegant chaos is litearlly just “the arc where brainstorm is revealed to be cinnamon” but cie’s not That cinnamon considering her weapons tech so. Sinnamon

also i see a lot of ppl responding to any possibility starscream could be compassionate at all with like “nah but xe’s just an asshole who doesnt care about Anyone” and like.. i get that that’s a funnier response and has proved true more often than not in canon but why does xe have to be written that way every time without fail? why is xe immune to change? why not stick it to the writers, who pin this on a character who’s a survivor and coded mentally ill, jewish and queer. 

let me have this, let me “”romanticize”” xer bc despite these traits that i share with xer, xe is never spared a chance, unlike others who are granted personhood by fandom and canon alike

I think Starscream is largely misunderstood and has the potential to be a better person now that they rule Cybertron.

i personally wouldn’t say xe’s largely misunderstood, as xe is correctly viewed as someone who only cares about xerself, but i feel like that interpretation goes to extents that make xer seem one dimensional or not capable of change–the character development kind. which isn’t a bad assumption to have given that these characters are millions of years old, so why would they change? but this is a story, so they kind of have to. 

ideally this could be possible. ideally starscream’s whole Thing with feeling genuine with wheeljack didn’t go absolutely nowhere and hinted that xe isn’t Completely self absorbed and is capable of caring about other people. (i mean maybe it did go somewhere and i just didn’t read that part? i don’t follow the rest of idw tf nearly as consistently as mtmte). plus i feel like starscream Wants to be a good leader.. people never gave xer the chance most of the time because how could xe have led in place of megatron, who is the decepticon cause? 

canon’s never really treated xer well so i wouldn’t count on it, but i hope xe can grow as a person
