also i see a lot of ppl responding to any possibility starscream could be compassionate at all with like “nah but xe’s just an asshole who doesnt care about Anyone” and like.. i get that that’s a funnier response and has proved true more often than not in canon but why does xe have to be written that way every time without fail? why is xe immune to change? why not stick it to the writers, who pin this on a character who’s a survivor and coded mentally ill, jewish and queer.
let me have this, let me “”romanticize”” xer bc despite these traits that i share with xer, xe is never spared a chance, unlike others who are granted personhood by fandom and canon alike
