Concept: Masked superhero who, in order to protect their secret identity, pretends to be the opposite sex. Through doing this and having everyone refer to their superhero counterpart with those pronouns and labels they realize they are, in fact, trans.

I guess I am Transgender

I was thinking about this today ( like every day) and I realized something.

I realized that if the world was different, if someone being transgender was no big deal and that if all my friends and family were happy for me…I would transition. I’d still be nervous about potential physical side-effects, but I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t let it hold me back. Sounds simple, but I really wasn't able to frame it that way before, I don't know why.

Then I realized exactly how much emotional energy and mental thought would be freed up in not worrying about it anymore.

I never use to think I was that worried about what others thought. I guess I was wrong 😕
