Woah, throw-back. First demo of first song of a band from high-school days. I was probably a junior or something... So this is like... 13 years old or something.
It was some kind of neo-classical-ish shred-metal kind of thing... and it’s incredibly sloppy as this was like the first time running through the entire song.
Recorded “live” at practice with a single shitty PC microphone.

Song from old band during high-school over 10 years ago. This is only a piece of the song... it was quite long, and ultimately probably most responsible for breaking the band. Heh. Vocals were never recorded as this was for a friend's college engineering project and not actually for us.

It's weird hearing this old stuff. (AND HOLY CRAP DOES THE TUMBLR PLAYER MAKE IT SOUND LIKE SHIT, it clipped the fuck out of it and added a mid-range "honk"... GOOD JOB TUMBLR)

Old project of mine that we never completed... Not the greatest recording / production, as again it was never completed. I also have no idea what sub-genre to throw it into as it was a mix of different inspirations, too many probably (part of why the project got put onto the back burner). This song was from around 2006 or so. This has myself on vocals and drums. I listen back to it now and cringe at the playing... and while I never considered myself a lyricist, I wrote the lyrics:
