Technology brings out the best in the transport services
The need for low-cost social mobility and rural public transportation is growing. Longer travel times and a lack of transportation choices may be obstacles to work for certain rural inhabitants, as well as contributing to social isolation and poor health outcomes.
Local governments are trying to offer dependable and financially feasible transportation services for the community to access public transportation on their own. Demand-responsive transportation (DRT) is a technology-based solution to these issues that provides a service that is not bound by conventional bus routes and schedules.
DRT has been an effective solution in many parts of the United States. Dooly transit is one of these agencies that are providing Rural demand-responsive services in the county.

Here, there is another agency that is working in the backend to achieve these numbers.
HBSS with their brand new QRyde software. Yes, the software which RMC. Inc has been using a regional coordination system to streamline and manage its operations.
HBSS officials about the QRyde: “Integrative ride coordination system based on inter-agency collaborative communication and cost allocation technology that removes boundaries between transportation providers of a region”.
