Can we please discuss gender fluid liam? Liam who is so solid and sure and gently methodical never quite being able to fond solid footing for himself. Not being able to put what he wants or what he is into words because its too big and too slipery. Liam trying to learn to let go and let himself drift into whatever feels best.

maaaaan i fucking ! love ! this!!!!!!!!!!! not to be too dramatic but this is the best kind of gender exploration liam because liam is a kind of person that doesn’t know things and sorta gets overwhelmed by that, but also never ever stops going on?? lil dedicated bab, always trying his utmost.

he’s curious too, and like exploring gender could be such a fun articulation of that? of like finding that it flows back and forth in a particular rhythm and maybe tapping it out in a sound booth, making something solid from it and feeling like, oh. this is it. there is something real and tangible in this ephemerality.

i love that liam can’t put it into words. i love that gender doesn’t have to be put into words.

liam can slip slide through it and pick up this feeling one day, looking at his reflection in the car window or lay down in the snow the next and pick up another. he isn’t bound to one gender in the same way that you aren’t bound to knowing knowledge in one way. you can always learn new definitions. that’s my favorite thing about genderfluid liam, is watching liam get to feel the joy of learning meet the joy of gendering, over and over again. <3333
