The routine that I follow every day to maintain a youthful appearance :3, it is very thorough, and you don't need start with all this, you can slowly build up your routine by adding a step every few days.
Gentle cleansing.
This is mostly to clean the oil and sweat from sleeping, so you should go with a milky cleanser.
Vitamin C serum.
For brightening the skin and anti-aging.
Moisturizer.
Look for hyaluronic acid, hydration is important for healthy young skin.
SUNSCREEN.
The most important, skin aging is mostly caused by sun damage, so use it even if you're staying indoors. I recommend spf 30 for regular days and spf 50 for sunny days (reapply every 2 hours if outside).
Double cleansing.
First with an oil cleanser (to dissolve sunscreen and makeup) and then a water cleanser (to actually clean the skin).
Retinol serum.
Don't start using it every day right away, first test if your skin doesn't react to it, then start slowly using it (1 day a week, 2-3 days a week and so on). If you can use it, it is amazing for anti-aging.
Reparative moisturizer.
Look for ceramides and peptides, especially after retinol since it dehydrates the skin.
Once a month I go with my dermaplaning routine, which removes dead skin cells, it is not necessary but it's something I like to do and I'll soon make a post about.
