these are mung beans. in chinese theyre literally just 'green bean'. like uh lv dou. u might have heard of lv dou tang? like green bean soup. they'll give the soup to u at the end of meals at chinese restaurants once winter is over (they give u red bean soup during winter) 

IDK WHY. theyre green! theyre beans! ive gone my entire life not talking to people about them bc i didnt know they were called mung beans! #food
