International Dark ‘n Stormy Day & National Earl Day & Writers’ Rights Day
Person A is a writer who during a stormy night, gets a visitor who promises to grant them a wish if they let them stay the night, which Person A agrees. Thinking the wish is fake, they wish for all the characters they felt sorry for to be cared for and loved by good parents. When Person A wakes up the next day, they’ve been trapped in a story world where all their tragic and sad favorite characters are children and now under Person A’s care. Person B is a strange owner of the large estate they live in with their hoard of tragic backstory characters, and who begrudgingly helps them with their task and seems to know more than they’re letting on about the person who granted their wish in this odd way.
