that’s just who i am

i am well aware i’m bad with boundaries esp w/ppl i care about (i read this fantastic article about it tbh), whereas if it’s someone i don’t know i have no problem just not responding to people who misgender me and then if they get in my face about it i address it (like if someone is sir or ma’aming me and i don’t respond, but then they are like “excuse me!” and pointedly get my attention, i can be like, oh, i didn’t realise you were talking to me because i’m not ____, my pronouns are they/them, etc). 

but yeah, people who are close to me i’m just like oh...you fucked up...i know you didn’t mean to...but you did...it was painful...but i won’t bring it up ever...i’ll just nurse it and prob trust you a lil less
