On June 17, 2025, Vietnam officially passed amendments to the Law on Enterprises that introduce beneficial ownership regulations in Vietnam
New law requires all enterprises to identify, record, and keep current their beneficial owners those with significant ownership or control making declarations at registration and updating any changes within 10 days. Companies must retain these records for at least five years after dissolution.
