When the Resistance came to the meteor mine, children were hidden in crevices and craters. Only when the council of three were behind barrier and the last Sloth minion surrendered did the survivors coax them out of hiding.

The survivors were taken to safety, prisoners of the battle taken to appropriate headquarters, and the three/a few guards were left behind while higher-ups debated what to do with the mines. Some Sloth minions had escaped the fight, and returned later with reinforcements, clearing out the rebels and re-releasing their grundo councilors. Now it’s a base where they hide away, extracting resources from the smaller meteors of the surrounding belt with robots/machinery what have you. Building weapons and ships. Waiting for Sloth's comeback.

Dex and other continue to have lingering chronic lung issues. same with some of the sloth minions/scientist stationed there
