I don’t have time to make them often but I really like customizing Monster High dolls.  Our theme this round was “Out of This World”, and I used my supplies to create a miniature 11" tall alien girl with a light-up headdress.  Her outfit and appendages are all completely made from worbla and transpArt, tinted to various tones with turquoise iDye. Protip: transpArt is really hard to use in small scale because it shrinks!  If you have to go this tiny, try to quickly stretch your shape the very first time, otherwise you run the risk of warping/clouding your work upon reheat.

Remember that thing you guys kept watching me mess around with on Twitch.tv?  Worbla's TranspArt Contest entries are up, which means I can post some finished photos now!  My concept was to make something solely out of transpArt, which in this case was a Phoenix themed faceplate.  Working with transpArt was pretty straightforward - it's definitely thinner than 1/16" PETG which meant it took shaping better, but also warped a lot easier in the iDye Poly bath I used to color it.

My entry for the #transpartcontest! I burned my fingers pretty badly so it was hard to finish this ; v ; it's hollow and filled with more flowers, though it's hard to tell in photos. I will say that even though I think it's cute and I'm glad I miraculously managed to finish my entry, I'm unhappy with the finished product, especially after seeing the other amazing and high-caliber entries! 😩 It really drives home the fact that I've only been cosplaying for two years and am extremely inexperienced at propmaking. #worbla #transpart #sculpture

Fly, my little akuma.  Go and complete my dark design!

Just finished my first entry for the #TranspART contest, a little light-up akuma from Miraculous Ladybug!  It was initially pretty hard to cram 14 little LEDs into some flat butterfly wings, but through determination and hot glue I was able to get something that could hold up well enough for a mini photoshoot.  I’d definitely like to make some more tweaks before I think this thing could handle being a con prop, but I took lots of progress photos and would eventually like to make a walkthrough post.
