Microsoft is setting new encryption standards for its webmail services like Hotmail.com, Live.com, Outlook.com and MSN.com, meaning that security agencies worldwide will find it almost impossible to hack accounts…keep in mind, almost.
After working on the new system for over half year, the Redmond giant has switched on the Transport Layer Security encryption (TLS) for the aforementioned services.
