it's an issue for people with who are in possession of a uterus
now i'm gonna go to bed again the world has exhausted me.
sometimes i look at the standard gay marriage rights stuff and like i know it's important but i look at it and i think "if i start transitioning i can't serve in my country's military" and i think "no gynecologist will sterilize me in any manner until i am at least thirty and have two kids much less treat me in any manner that might stop menstruation" and i think "if something awful happens and i get pregnant the chances of me being able to get an abortion are so slim" and i think "i need a year of therapy and letters from two mental health professionals to get treatment for my dysphoria"
and i just get really tired, like so tired i can't even be mad or cry anymore, i'm just tired.
and i mean i'm actually in a good place right now. there are a lot of trans youth who don't have the support systems i do. like i'm closeted to most people in NJ but there's people i know in real life who call me reid and treat me like a dude. there's a lot of LGBT*Q youth who are homeless or hurting because of stupid prejudices. so why is gay marriage the biggest issue the lgbt*q movement focuses on?
