is there reason your train characters have a double letter in their names? i noticed and thought it might have some lore behind it

It's just a fancy way for having a 'unique' name made from an actual existing word.
Waggon is just from the french word 'wagon' which means (train) carriage (and I just love this word by default).
Arrson = Arson, the double 'r' is for marking him sound harsh or passionate and the name origin is linked to the fact he can create fire.
Caarbon = Carbon, since he creates charcoal and I suppose the double vowel is for putting emphasis on the fact he's the smoothest or the chillest one of the group.
