Transtheism
Syncretrism is the practice of reconciling two different, often opposing beliefs. What better to try this on than the atheism/theism binary? At the dawn of the new year, I resolved to start believing in God. Today, I moved past most of the initial cognitive dissonance I felt, yielding tangible progress towards my goal. I have no idea what sort of bizarre views I'm in the process of creating; I just hope my mind won't be fully fractured by the end of it.
