I hate my depression. I spend a shit ton of energy struggling with staying focused on the task at hand all the while fighting back the urge to break down and cry. Even with a decent nights sleep, I’m still exhausted and I can’t seem to catch up.

Misgendering in the Family

I know this could sound like a touchy issue, but this one is actually *touching* to me for a very personal reason.

Earlier, my little sister misgendered me and asked me to come “as her brother” when I come and pick her up for school. My mom hushed her and told her not to be like that. Which is a bit of comfort from what I just had heard from my sister.

BUT AN HOUR LATER, my little sister comes to me and gives me a letter that she wrote! She apologizes and tells me she loves me as I am and that she doesn’t care anymore what other people think. That I should come as who I am and I’d still be family.

I HAVE THE BEST SISTER.
