Rise Up 013 comes courtesy of Ivy Lab - the trio of producers known individually as Sabre, Stray and Halogenix signed to the mighty Critical Music imprint. This mix proves one thing - Drum & Bass is back, ready to stamp its authority on the UK underground again after retreating to the shadows to let the house-music wave roll on by. We've watched with interest over recent months as the rest of the dance music press have slowly realised that some of the most creative, interesting and progressive electronic music production out there is happening at 170 beats per minute, or increasingly, the half-time tempo of 85bpm.
