PART OF HIM LIKED THE SILENCE IN THE MORNINGS, the peace that resonated in the room. he liked being by himself, but as he looked over at the sleeping woman next to him, he realized that she was one of the only people he never got tired of.
with the blackout curtains over his windows, colby brock’s room was almost pitch black, even though it was 10:30 in the morning. he found himself being awake earlier than usual, his eyes staring up at the ceiling. after a moment, he allowed his eyes to shift down to the figure next to him, watching as her body rose and fall with every breath she took; she appeared to still be asleep.
30 minutes later, colby being on his phone, y/n l/n stirred next to him. she ran her hands down her face as she awoke, turning over to face colby.
“surprised to see you awake,” she whispered, stretching. she let out a satisfied groan as she felt the bones in her body pop and her muscles stretch out. colby looked over at her and smiled, putting his phone down.
“honestly, me too,” he chuckled. y/n looked up at him, her eyes bright with admiration. she scooted closer to him and wrapped her arms around his torso.
“i don’t deserve you, ya know,” y/n hummed as she melted into his body. colby drew circles on her bare shoulders with his fingers, taking in her comment. in his mind, it was the opposite: he didn’t deserve her.
“how’s that?” he asked, looking down at the top of her head. she shrugged her shoulders, causing a genuine smile to form onto colby’s face. his heart fluttered still, sending a warm feeling down his spine.
“you deal with all of my quirks, my messes, my failures and triumphs,” she started, keeping her eyes ahead of her. “you could have any girl in the world, and you chose regular ol’ me.” she was halfway joking, but there was still a sting in her chest when she said that.
colby didn’t know what to think at first. ever since he met y/n he thought she deserved more than him. he swore he had sounded stupid when he first talked to her, and if he did, it didn’t scare her away.
“and you could have any man in the world, and you chose me,” he finally countered, causing y/n to look up at him.
“guess that means we’re perfect for each other,” she grinned as she snuggled closer into colby’s side. he chuckled and kissed the top of her head, his heart filling up with joy. he was so lucky, and he was so thankful for someone like her. someone that understood him, and based on what y/n confessed, she thought the same thing about him.
“i guess so,”

your point of view
i was talking to the girls, they explained some of the rules around here but apparently i’ll get to know all the rules with the devil himself. “you know, i refuse to believe that someone who is the devil has such an innocent name, colby, who would be afraid of that?” the girls laughed, giggling loudly, “no seriously! i always figured it would be lucifer.”
“nah, only in the bible.” kat shrugged off, “colby’s actual name is cole. but he hates being called that, i don’t know why tho.”
“yeah he never really told us the reason behind that, did he?” devyn asked rhetorically, katrina and tara nodding their heads.
“cole, maybe i’ll say that to piss him off.” i wriggled my eyebrows, smirking a little. “hey do you guys have any food, i’m so hungry.”
“uh duh, come on, follow me.” tara said, both of us getting up from our spot. i followed her as she said, “okay so we have many options, what would you like to have?”
“uhhh, holy shit you weren’t lying when you said there’s a variety.” i breathed out a small chuckle as she giggled. “i’ll have the..” i couldn’t choose, “shit, i don’t know.” i laughed.
tara laughed with me, “here, have these,” she grabbed a pack of chips, ‘hellfire potato chips’ very ironic. “they’re my favourite.” she threw them towards me, i caught it swiftly, nodding.
“the name of it sure sounds convincing.” she laughed yet again. “you go back to the girls, i’ll catch up to you. i’m gonna grab a drink,” she nodded, smiling before leaving. i was looking at the ingredients on the chip packet while walking towards the fridge, accidentally knocking into someone. “shit sorr- oh. it’s you.” i saw colby directly in front of me, shrugging him off.
“isn’t that the most polite way to greet someone.” he sarcastically stated, huffing. “what are you doing?”
“getting food, what does it look like?” i opened the fridge and bent down as i looked for drinks. i could practically feel his eyes staring at my ass. “stop staring, jackass.” i grabbed a can of beer before standing up straight, “you know,” i opened the can as i continued to speak, “i thought you people in hell don’t get hungry.”
“obviously we get hungry,” colby folded his arms, giving me an evil eye, “did you fail in history or something?” i rolled my eyes, taking a sip of the beer.
“history’s a joke. they never teach you what the truth actually is. they just add in positive information to make it sound like the world isn’t a horrible place.” i cocked my eyebrow, my statement definitely catching him off guard.
“wow, you’re actually smart?” he teased, “i didn’t figure you as the common sense type.”
“there’s a lot you don’t know about me-“ i started walking away, stopping for a second, “-cole.” i smirked as i said that, walking off before he could say anything.
i was suddenly startled by the girls squealing at my face, “that was so badass, holy shit.” katrina yelped.
“how did you not stutter once!” devyn continued on,
“girlll, that was firey hot.” tara finished off, i laughed as they all rambled. i shrugged,
“she must’ve learned from the best,” i furrowed my eyebrows, turning my head to see brennen. “sup, princess.” the girls all groaned, huffing. my face shriveled up into a cringe.
“don’t call me princess, i’m nobody’s princess.” i spat out, eating a chip. brennen smirked,
“you shouldn’t be talking to envy like that, sweetheart, you have no idea what i’m capable of.” he huskily spoke, the girls shivered in disgust before sitting back down, “plus,” he ran his hand up and down my arm, “what’s the worst that can happen if you got with m-“
i kicked him in the balls as hard as i could before he could even have the chance to finish. he groaned loudly, falling to his knees as he held his crotch in pain. “damn!” “ouch-” “holy shit that looked like it hurt.” sam, jake and corey called out right after the douche fell to the floor.
“what the fuck is happening over here?” colby walked out, his deep voice intimidating everyone but me. “what the-”
“colby, you might want to control your fucking girl before i-” before brennen could finish, i kneed him in the jaw, causing him to groan in pain.
“listen here, asshat,” i grabbed brennen by the collar, “i’m nobody’s fucking girl. stop speaking to me like that or i will crush your balls with my bare hands.” everyone laughed and ooed as soon as i finished.
“shiiiiit, i think you’re the only chick that i’m afraid of other than tara.” jake chuckled out, i folded my arms,
“who you calling chick?” honestly, i only said that to scare him. and it seemed to work.
“alright, that’s enough of that.” colby huffed out, burning his eyes into mine. i stared at him just as intensely. he shut his eyes and rose his eyebrows before opening them again, “she has an attitude,” he looked at sam, who was smirking at colby, “fast learner, i see.”
“is anyone going to help me?!” brennen groaned out in pain, we laughed, i brought my hand out for him to grab. he hesitantly grabbed it, i pulled him up. “thanks. you’re fucking crazy.”
“crazy is my middle name.” the girls all giggled, cheering me on as i smirked evilly. where the fuck is this sudden attitude coming from, i still don’t understand.
“anyways, move along, everyone.” colby grit out, sending everyone away, “girls, do you mind if i speak to y/n alone?” the girls nodded before leaving, winking at me. i looked at them weird before turning back around, gasping in surprise when i saw him standing directly in front of me.
“can you not do that every time i turn around?” i sassily remarked, continuing to eat my chips. tara wasn’t lying, they were good. he rolled his eyes,
“listen here, princess,” i clenched my jaw when he called me princess, he definitely did that on purpose.
“stop calling me princess-” i angrily cut him off, suddenly i was pushed up against the wall, extremely roughly as he gripped my neck. i struggled to get out of his grasp.
“you may have had the guts to lay even a finger on brennen, but you need to realize the fact that i’m the fucking devil. you can’t hurt me even if you tried to. so watch your fucking mouth when you’re speaking to me.” his dark blue eyes boaring into mine, i looked up at him, since he was much taller than me.
“whatever, if you want to kill me just fucking do it,” i spat back, bringing my face even closer to his, to where i could feel his breath hitting my lips, “i have no will to continue living.” i whispered. he flared his nostrils in anger, tightening his grip around my neck a little.
“what are you doing to me, huh?” i didn’t even think it was possible, but he brought my face closer to his, the tip of our noses touching, my chest up against his. “who are you to make me feel like this?” his voice lowered even more, sounding slightly raspy sending shivers down my body.
“from what i’ve heard; i’m your queen to be.” he smirked slightly, i copied his expression.
“to be my queen, there’s a lot of consequences. i still think you’re too much of a coward to face those.” he teasingly whispered.
“is that so?” i rose my eyebrows, he hummed, i brought my mouth towards his ear, “challenge accepted.” i whispered hotly as i escaped his grasp. i walked backwards to see his face, a large grin over my lips. his tongue was pressed against his cheek to hide his smirk.
this should be fun.

Being around the trap boys most of the time, you became accustomed to their antics. It wasn’t a normal day around the four of them if there wasn’t some kind of prank, party, or some sort of insane video being filmed. There was always something new going on at the house and it was honestly one of your favourite parts about seeing them all the time. There was never a dull moment.
Since the boys have moved into their new house their energy has been mainly focused on getting it presentable and finished. You always loved hanging around them and had a great relationship with each of the boys in a different way. Since he’s your boyfriend, obviously you’ve always been closest with Colby. He’s your dream guy to an absolute T. Colby has always been so protective of you, making sure you always enjoyed yourself and that you were safe. He always gushes about how much the other three boys love you. You spent a lot of your time at the trap house and it made you feel so much more comfortable that the boys enjoyed your company. You felt like one of the guys around the four of them, but you also loved the trap girls to death as well.
Colby was always super protective of you, never letting any harm come your way. He steered you clear of prank wars, and people that weren’t positive to be around. Never in a million years did you think the boys would do or say anything bad against you. That was until a specific day.
You were upstairs with Colby, curled up in bed, head laying on his chest as you both watched one of your favourite shows. Colby was running his hands through your hair and you were completely engrossed in the show until you had received a text from Sam, telling you the postmates the group of you had ordered had arrived. As you moved to get up, Colby pulled you closer.
“Don’t goooo,” He whined, dragging his words out. You giggled and ran a hand through his hair.
“I have to go get our food bub, it’ll get cold.” you replied, prying his arms off you. He sighed dramatically and looked up at you.
“We have a microwave, just stay.” You laughed at his neediness and continued to laugh as his stomach began to growl.
“Clearly you want the food.” You shook you head in amusement and kissed his cheek, heading downstairs. As you walked towards the kitchen you could hear the other three boys deep in conversation. You didn’t think anything of it, but stopped when you heard your name fall from their lips.
“Yeah, y/n is here a lot.” You heard Corey say, to which Jake replied with, “It’s kinda annoying, like god give Colby a break.” You inhaled sharply as Sam and Corey hummed in agreement, and Sam proceeded to say, “Sometimes i don’t know what he sees in her.” That was the breaking point in you. Instead of fleeing upstairs to Colby, you fought back tears and marched straight to the kitchen, fuming. As you entered the kitchen, your feet moving faster than your mind, you not only tripped on an empty white claw but also ran into clear tape running from one side of the entrance of the kitchen to the other. In that moment you looked like you were in a cartoon, slipping on a banana peel. You slammed into the floor, pain rushing from your butt, up your back as you cried out in pain. You let the waterworks flow and not only was the pain causing you to cry, but also the things you heard come from the mouths of the boys you thought were some of your best friends. You heard them rush to you, spitting out apologies. You also heard Colby trample down the stairs to get to you, immediately crouching down and wrapping his arms around you. He looked from you to the boys and noticed the clear tape, his expression quickly changing from concern to anger. Colby stood up, facing the boys as his hands balled into fists.
“What the fuck is this?!” He questioned, ripping the tape down and throwing it towards the three boys standing there, terrified.
“It was just, we were um pranking y/n.” Jake struggled to get out, taking a step backwards.
“Look! You think that’s funny?! It’s good content that you hurt my girl?!” Colby interrogated them, pointing at you as he spoke. Sam, Corey and Jake were speechless. They had never seen Colby this mad. They just kind of stood there, staring between you and Colby. Colby turns to you, helping you up and rubbing your back, making sure you were okay. He gave the boys a dirty look and kissed your forehead.
“Y/n we are really sorry, we didn’t think you would get so hurt.” Sam said, apologizing on behalf of himself and the other two. You looked at them with tears in your eyes.
“Did you mean what you said about me?” Colby’s eyes widened and he demanded to know what they said. They frantically shook their head, apologizing again and saying how much they loved you. Colby was tired of hearing it, being still angry with them for hurting you. He marched over, grabbed your food and brought you upstairs. He helped you into the bed, being overly careful just to make sure you were okay. Colby kept mumbling under his breath about the boys being assholes You chuckled at his protectiveness, unwrapping the food you ordered.
“It was just a prank, you can calm down now love.” You tell him soothingly. Colby sits beside you on the bed, resting a hand on your thigh. He moves his hand to your lower back, where you were very sore from the fall you took, he lightly rubbed your back as he looked at you for any sign of pain.
“I’ve always told them pranks are off limits for you because of this reason. I don’t want you getting hurt.” He confesses as he kisses your cheek. You smiled and leaned against Colby, letting him rub your back.
“I’m okay, the worst I’ll get is a bruise, you don’t have to worry.” You tell him, hoping he’ll listen.
“Okay, i’m glad you’re okay. But I’m still annoyed at them.” You giggle at your boyfriend’s protective nature, it’s something that always secretly made you really happy, knowing he cared that much. Jake rushes in, interrupting your quiet moment.
“So uh, are we okay to post it? I’ll do some crazy ‘GONE WRONG’ title just for you y/n.” He inquires, staying close to the door since an angry Colby can be unpredictable. Before Colby can even think to give a snarky response, you burst into laughter.
“Fine, go ahead, just make sure to link my new merch for all the trouble.” You tell him lightheartedly. Jake smiles and gives a thumbs up, heading out of the room.
“Wait Jake,” Colby speaks up, “You hurt her again.. prank or no prank, I’ll kill you brother.” Jake assures that he understands and promises to relay the information to the other boys, leaving you two alone.
“You’re my hero Colby Brock.” you giggle, snuggling into him and leaving sweet kisses on his neck and cheek. He smiles, getting red and pulling you closer to him.
summary: colby is feeling a little down so he requests cuddles from his girlfriend.
warnings: teeth-rotting fluff guys, fem!reader, talks of depression
———
IT COMES AND IT GOES, this thing called sadness. sometimes a person is pushed deep into the abyss, sometimes they’re able to cope, but colby brock felt like he was falling more and more into an abyss.
lately, he has been traveling all over with friends, filming his and sam’s 25x25 videos. he had a blast, and he’d never regret it, but coming home was a struggle. he was drained, both socially and physically.
the one thing that colby wanted was his girlfriend. being how tired he was, how emotionally drained he was, he got a little weepy talking on the phone with her, asking her to come over. of course, she agreed, but she could tell he got weepy from her side of the phone; she was never going to let him live that down.
she walked into the house, the alarm signaling to the rest of the traphouse members someone had entered (or left technically). y/n was a familiar face around the house; it wasn’t unusual for her to show up unannounced.
she walked up to colby’s room, passing a smile to sam as he walked by.
“he’s been in his room all day. i think we’ll all pay you, like, a lot of money to get him out.” sam begged of her with a smile.
“well, i’ll see what i can do. sometimes my magic works too good if you know what i mean,” she joked, sam snapping his hands into finger guns in response. she chuckled and walked to colby’s door, giving a soft knock before opening it. she grinned as she saw her sleepy boyfriend on his bed, his phone in his hands and a blanket over his body. she saw his eyes peek out from behind his phone.
“babbyyy,” he called softly, putting down his phone. he had a tired smile on his face, but his chest filled with joy as he watched her approach him. he hadn’t seen her in a while, so, she was a sight for sore eyes, literally.
y/n smiled and set her keys down on his end table, slipping off her shoes.
“well, scoot over,” she raised her eyebrows and motioned with her hands for him to scoot. he did so eagerly, opening up the blanket so she could slip in. she got under the covers and he laid his head on her chest.
“sam told me you’ve been a hermit all day,” she hummed, bringing her hands up to his hair. she played with small pieces, twirling them around her fingers as well as just running her hands through it.
“he’s not wrong,” he hummed, closing his eyes with pleasure.
“maybe you should go out, get something to eat,” she suggested with a grin. he shrugged and cuddled closer to her, taking in her warmth and the safety he got from being with her.
“maybe,” he admitted, his voice soft. he just wanted to enjoy her presence, the fact that she was there. he didn’t know what he did to deserve her.
she didn’t say much of anything else, just sat there as her boyfriend laid in her arms. these moments of vulnerability were so important to them; it proved that they trusted each other. it told the world that colby was ok, that his fans didn’t need to attack her.
as she looked down at him, she kept a warm smile on her face. she remembered a time where she thought she’d never be in a relationship, yet here she was, holding the man she loved in her arms. there had been a fair amount of times the roles were switched, so it only made sense.
“thank you,” he told her, picking up his head and looking at her in the eyes.
“for what?” she asked, watching him curiously. she had to admit, every time she looked into his eyes she fell more in love with him.
“i don’t know, being here, dealing with all of,” he paused for a moment, “this,” he gestured to himself, earning a shove from y/n.
“don’t thank me, colbs. i’m always here, and i’m not leaving,” she promised him. he laid his head back on her chest, listening to her heartbeat echo through his head. she pressed a kiss to the top of his head and felt him fall asleep — once more — on her chest.
“i love you, bubs.”

summary: she has a bad day and colby is there to comfort her
warnings: just some fluff, some mentions of anxiety, fem!reader
requested by: @rosecolbs
———
BAD DAYS WERE NORMAL AND TO BE EXPECTED. they took on various forms for different people, but either way, it weighed people down. y/n was well accustomed to bad days, but not days like this.
she loved her job, no doubt. working at the coffee shop was amazing and she was close with her co-workers. but, there’s always something. that day, she was exhausted. she didn’t get much sleep the previous night — she didn’t know why — and it caused her to not pay attention much. on the way into work, she smacked her head with the door as she opened it up. it was right then and there y/n accepted that her day was going to be a bad one.
——
the day went fine, some customers were rude and some were nice. she was tired, and she knew that when she’d get back to her apartment she’d be taking a nap.
it was towards the end of her shift when one customer came in. y/n didn’t even know what happened with this woman’s order, but her hot coffee ended up all over y/n and very crude words were spoken to her. of course, the woman had the police called on her and y/n was checked over for burns. luckily enough, it wasn’t that bad. after that, her manager let her off a bit early. thank God she did.
a mixture of emotions was swimming through y/n’s chest. she was angry, she was hurt, and she was shaking from the anxiety built up. she needed to be with someone, not alone; she’d crumble if she did that. so, she drove to the traphouse instead.
being familiar around the house, y/n walked right on in. no one thought anything of it, which was a habit the boys needed to fix.
she walked up the stairs and knocked the colby’s bedroom door; he was always in there. she heard a faint ‘come in,’ and that’s what she did. she opened the door, her face red and her body shaking. not to mention she also smelled like a caramel latte.
“y/n!-woah, are you alright?” he asked her as he took a minute to analyze. he was laying on his couch with his laptop perched on his chest, but it had been since moved to the table and he was now standing up.
“obviously i’m not alright, colby.” she snapped and she ran a hand through her hair; he didn’t deserve to be snapped at.
“i’m sorry, i didn’t mean to snap.” y/n hummed as colby walked closer to her, exhaling. he saw the coffee stains on her clothes, not to mention that the very strong scent of caramel gave it away too.
“how about you hop in the shower, change your clothes and then we can talk about it?” he offered, smiling softly at her. colby wouldn’t admit it, but she was pretty attractive when she was angry.
she huffed and nodded her head, heading into his bathroom and closing the door behind her. stripping over her clothes, she turned the shower on and waited for the hot water to kick in. she stepped inside, letting the warm water wash away the problems of her day.
——
she dried off and dressed herself in one of colby’s hoodies — one of the purple one’s to be exact — and a pair of his sweats. she was more comfortable now, but that shower didn’t wash away the fact she had a bad day.
she came out of the bathroom to once again see colby laying on the couch, his phone in his hands this time. he averted his eyes to y/n, setting his phone down on the table. he outstretched his arms, offering her to come lay with him. y/n agreed with a smile and walked over, gently laying down and settling her head on his chest.
“feel any better?” colby hummed as he ran his fingers through her hair.
“yeah, still upset though.” she hummed as she laid there, feeling her body relax. she took a deep breath and allowed herself to close her eyes.
“at least you smell good,” he joked, earning an awkward jab by y/n. he chuckled and continued to run his fingers through her hair, allowing her to sleep. he was so lucky to have found someone like her, someone who understood him and who he understood. in every essence of the word, he loved her.
———
this was long haha. i honestly loved this one though since i had a bad day a couple of days ago that’s still bothering me haha. anyways, thank you @rosecolbs for your request! i hope you enjoy it!
summary: they used to be friends until some toxic fans assumed things and broke them apart.
warnings: fem!reader, angst, pretty much it.
———
THERE WAS A TIME WHERE COLBY BROCK COULD HAVE FEMALE FRIENDS AND IT NOT START A WAR. it seemed like such a long time ago, especially now, considering every friend that he brought around got caught up in a part of his world, a part he didn’t want them to be apart of. some of these girls would stop talking to him because of the hate that they got from some of his fans. colby didn’t know how to stop it.
it hit him the hardest when one of his closest friends, y/n, stopped talking to him. he didn’t know of the hate she was getting, but considering how they were good friends, he could only imagine.
it happened over time, prolonging the ache that resided in colby’s chest. he missed her, but he had to respect she had a life. she was big now in the acting industry; there wasn’t much he could do.
he watched videos of her interviews and watched her movies, but it was nothing compared to what they had. he’d admit that he had feelings for her, but only to himself. revealing that to the public would only make things worse for both of them. so, he stayed quiet. he didn’t interact with her except for following her on insta, twitter and still being added on her snapchat. that was the only interaction they had.
y/n felt the same way. she missed the trap boys, how much fun they’d have. she missed colby and their late-night talks. she didn’t know what she did to deserve the hate she got for being colby’s friend, but she should’ve known after knowing him for a while. she should have seen it coming, but she didn’t.
being big in hollywood provided her with so many opportunities and she was soaking it in. she met new people and made new friends, but she’d never forget the ones who got her started, who were there for her when no one else was.
she was drunk, and it was a mistake. as she laid there in her bed one night, her thoughts wandered over to colby. having little to no self-control, she picked up her phone and called him, still having his number. it rang for a few seconds before she heard the person on the other end pick up.
“hello?” his voice was the medicine she needed, and when she heard it, tears were brought to her eyes.
“hey colby,” she slurred, trying not to sound like she was drunk or crying.
“you’re drunk, aren’t you.” it wasn’t even a question; he knew.
“how’d you know?”
“you wouldn’t have called me otherwise.” it stung when he said that because it was true and both parties knew that. there was a silence between them, a tension even, but not the good kind. finally, y/n spoke up.
“look, i’ve been thinking-”
“you’re drunk, y/n, call me when you’re sober.” he interrupted. he was bitter, and he had the right to be, but with every word he spoke he was closer to tears.
“i want to explain myself.”
“explain yourself to me when i’m not just a memory or someone you call when you’re drunk.” it stung, oh boy did it sting. she sat there, stunned at his words. colby was stunned at them too; he never imagined himself saying those words to her.
he hung up on her, and as he tossed his phone aside, he buried his face in his hands and let tears fall from his eyes. he pushed away the one person he wanted to see, and now he was never going to hear her voice again.
he was right. he didn’t get a call from her the next morning, or the one after that. y/n l/n never called colby brock ever again after that night.
